Hi, I'm Kim Lyn. Inspired by the coastlines I call home, my work blends timeless beauty with an effortless, modern feel.

Well Hi!  So glad you stopped by.  Today I am featuring one of the lucky couples that won a free Love Session with me.  The contest called for them to tell me why they deserved a free shoot, what keeps their love alive, and what makes them unique.  I had quite a few entries and ended up choosing 5 couples to shoot with. Image

On that note, I introduce Scott + Bonnie.  Scott entered the contest on behalf of the couple and I was completely taken away.  I could just feel how much he loves Bonnie through the words he wrote.  This session was for her.  Bonnie is an amazing Mom and a beautiful woman.  Scott + Bonnie met while working at Job Lot.  Scott details the first day he saw her by saying “It was amazing although she was working at a menial job she was so happy! Her face glowed, her eyes got you caught in a vortex of wonder…” ImageThey have been married for 11 years!  Together they have a beautiful family with 3 boys.  Scott + Bonnie are Christians and actually attend the same church we do.  Scott couldn’t stop gushing about his wife in the contest entry, “I on the other hand cannot live without her, she is the ying to my yang, the peas to my pod, the peanut butter to my jelly.  I have always been a hard working person sometimes working 3 jobs to make sure there is a roof over our head and food on the table but let me tell you that I could not do it without her I need her by my side.”ImageGod is truly amazing.  I see this couple and am completely in awe of their love for one another.  After three children and 11 years of marriage their love is still alive.  I know because they couldn’t keep their hands off each other when we were shooting and I just loved it!  It’s so inspiring to know that if you put God at the head of your household that he will provide and strengthen your family.  ImageOne of the questions I asked each couple was what keeps your love alive and this is what Scott had to say, “As far as how we keep the love going is simple.  ALWAYS ALWAYS say “I love you” no matter what your mood. Sometimes, like last night I will put our wedding song on and grab her hand and start dancing to it, does not matter the time or place!  Sorry this is so long but this is actually the abbreviated version if I told you all the amazing things about my wife you would have a book to read!”ImageWe took a trip down to Roger William’s Park in Providence for their shoot.  It was a beautiful day to spend outdoors.  We even got to enjoy some music from the Carousel and the mini train that drives through the park.  Scott + Bonnie were so fun to shoot with.  They weren’t afraid to be silly.  So I made them climb a tree, be gangsters, and have a dance off.  Who do you think won?  I’ll let you be the judge.ImageOh, side note!  The couple LOVES their video games.  How often do you find a woman who loves video games?  Scott….she’s a keeper!  But I think he already knows that.  Scott + Bonnie also love reading their Bible together so I made sure to include that in our session.ImageHonestly, I just want to say Thank you to both Bonnie + Scott for giving me the opportunity to capture their love.  I loved spending time with you both and hope to shoot you again in the future.  You taught me some lessons about love that I will never forget.  ImageImageHope you all enjoyed their story as much as I did!

Have a great day!

Xoxo,

Kim
