It took me quite a while to get Miss D to model for me. She is one of those naturally beautiful woman. The one who doesn’t feel like she is but you can’t help but notice her. She is shy and reserved. She has such a big beautiful smile that when she smiles you smile. I caught myself laughing along with her as we took these photos.
Miss D is going to school for nursing but she also has a passion for cosmetology. She decided to jump on board and build her portfolio and business right along with me. So if you book a session with me, Miss D might just be doing your makeup! I actually didn’t know she wanted to pursue cosmetology until the day of her shoot (even though we are family). I watched her as she flawlessly applied her makeup. I was in awe. In all honesty I do not have any type of makeup skills. Like zero. Miss D on the other hand has mad skills.
When Miss D isn’t in school or practicing her craft she is usually chasing after her daughter Anaya. The picture of her tattoo is special because it is the actual meaning of her daughters name (God answers). Love it. Anaya is one of the most charismatic 3 year olds I have ever met. I’m sure she will be featured in one of my upcoming blogs because every time I (or anyone else for that matter) has their camera out, you will find Anaya posing. She actually told me at the last shoot I did that she is next. Too cute. I look forward to working with Miss D on many upcoming shoots!
