Emily + John met two and a half years ago at the Landsdowne Pub in Boston. The date was the “best date ever” and that’s how their story begins. On 4th of July while on a trip to Ireland John popped the big question. He planned the surprise trip as a birthday/anniversary/graduation gift for her. Little did she know what other surprises he had up his sleeve. John proposed at the top of a little tower at the cliffs of Moher.
Originally we were supposed to take a trip to Nantucket for their engagement session but Hurricane Matthew had other plans. Instead, they decided Newport, RI would be the perfect since they will be having their wedding reception at Castle Hill (which I cannot wait for!). They are such a sweet couple and I loved getting to spend the day with them. Here are a couple of my favorites from their session.
