Julia + Jonathan met during the spring of their junior year at Fairfield University. He proposed on July 25, 2015 in Portland, Maine. They took a ferry over to Peaks Island and while they were exploring and enjoying the ocean views, Jon popped the question! One of their favorite things to do is enjoy restaurants out in downtown Boston. Their favorite is Neptune Oyster where their friend Dan is the chef. Jonathan is hardworking but doesn’t take life too seriously and reminds Julia to continue to make time for fun despite their hectic schedules. He always makes her laugh, he’s patient, and embraces all of her flaws. Jonathan describes Julia is easy to get along with and very patient with him. He is so impressed with the fact that she worked her whole life towards being a doctor.
They were married this past weekend at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. It rained all morning but cleared just in time for their formal portraits. We ended up having a beautiful night along with a stunning sunset. Julia glowed in her Reem Acra wedding dress and during their first look Jon just couldn’t keep his hands off her. They are truly a match made in heaven. They celebrated well into the night with friends and family. Here are a few of my favorite images from their big day!
