We couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot.  The weather was gorgeous, Ashlynne was gorgeous, and the beach was gorgeous.  Ashlynne is a very talented model in Rhode Island who contacted me via Instagram to do a possible shoot.  I was taken aback by her beauty.  I love what I do so you know I jumped at the chance.  She loved my last shoot at Black Point so decided she wanted to shoot there as well.  I tried to take a different approach for her shoot since I don’t like repetition.  She rocked it.  She actually had three different outfits she wore BUT I’m going to save one for another time.  I can’t tell you how much I love what I do.  Showcasing a woman in all her beauty is my passion.  Whether it be a model, a mom, or a bride, I just fall in love with each girl.  I fall in love with telling their story.  I fall in love with the obstacles they’ve overcome.  I fall in love with the joy they get when they finally see their photographs.  The smile on their face is why I do what I do.Ashlynne has worked with many photographers and told me this shoot was definitely one of her favorites.  My heart sang when she told me that.  I pride myself on working with each woman as an individual.  I’m not just a photographer.  I’m a friend.  We’ve already started making plans for a lunch date soon.  If you haven’t had a photo shoot done of you recently please contact me and we will work something out.  It is so important to exist in photographs.  Not only for the experience, but to remember yourself at this time in your life, or for your family to remember you.  I’ll let you in on a little secret.  Since I’m always behind the camera I rarely ever get pictures taken of me.  This year I decided to change that.  Not only am I starting to explore self portraits but I booked a couple sessions for myself and my husband too!  Maybe I’ll do some family ones around Christmas as well.  I will be starting a self portrait project soon so make sure you sign up to follow the blog so you can see all the different portraits I attempt 😉 I’m sure you’ve all been dying to see the rest of the images sooooo here they are!
