About 10 years ago my Dad fell in love with a woman named Bridget. She is an absolute blessing to this family. Along with Bridget came her 4 daughters. My poor Daddy…that’s 7 daughters! Luckily, he has grandsons. Our family has grown together and I can honestly say I am happy they came into our lives. Today you will read about the youngest of Bridget’s daughters. My sister Holly. She was just a baby when they first started dating. Now she is in middle school! It’s crazy how fast time flies. Bridget asked me to shoot Holly’s dance photos. I hope you enjoy!
Holly is such an inspiration. Not only is she in ballet but she takes hip hop, contemporary, and jazz. She is already accomplishing so much. She was just accepted into her studio’s junior company at Lyrics in Motion!
Lyrics in Motion is located in Woonsocket, RI and is run by Miss Hilarie Viens. She is doing such great things for these girls. I wish them all the best of luck in their upcoming season.
We shot all her ballet photos at a local park. This was such an awesome shoot. The dance theme was just so amazing. It brought me back to the days I was in dance.
We decided to go for a more urban feel for Holly’s hip hop attire. She is usually so shy and quiet but you could see the passion she has for dance just flow right out of her. She was totally rockin’ it!
I mean really? She even does breakdancing poses? Holly totally amazes me sometimes. She is always putting in the work and practicing and giving it her all.
I am so proud of her. She has grown into such a beautiful and inspiring young woman. I can only imagine what her future holds.
Holly’s contemporary outfit was the last of the day. It was perfect timing because the sun was setting just as we arrived.
