Hi, I'm Kim Lyn. Inspired by the coastlines I call home, my work blends timeless beauty with an effortless, modern feel.

Two years ago, I made a vow to my husband in front of our family and friends and more importantly in front of God, to love him forever, in good times and bad, in sickness and in health.  The past two years have not been easy.  But it has been beautiful because I married my best friend and I fall in love with him more and more each day.

Over the past two years we have been through so much heart ache but with him by my side I am able to be strong.  Sometimes it feels as if my world is crashing down and then he lifts me up.  Our good times outweigh anything that life can hurdle at us.  Marrying him was the best decision I have ever made for my life.  Shiloh Aaron Chauvin I love you.  Happy Anniversary.

Some people are afraid to get married.  To be honest….marriage has been easy for me.  Loving him is easy.  Being with him is easy.  Facing life is so much easier with him by my side.  Marriage isn’t hard if you truly love your spouse.  Life is hard.  But love isn’t.  Actually, nothing in my life has been easier.  He truly makes me a better person by just loving me.

I asked my Facebook followers what their best advice would be for Marriage and I got quite a few answers back.  Here are some of them:

Meg Caldwell McCluskey says:  End every night with a kiss, no matter what!

Ve’Lace Bridal says:  Compromise!

Majsan Esposito Champagne says:  Forgiveness is key.

Danielle Aubin: I’m not married and could probably take my own advice but….never go to bed mad, arguing or with anger lingering in the air.

Vanessa Lyn says:  Communication is key, not he or she thinks, does or knows as you may think.  Love unconditionally.

Deana Crossley Esposito:  Never take each other for granted.

Samone Seng:  Always work together.

Naomi Bourk DaRosa:  Compromise!

Danny Santiago:  Patience, but I’m not married.

Marriage takes all of these things.  I couldn’t agree more with them.  Love definitely takes patience, communication, and forgiveness and it’s all worth it.

Those pictures above were from our Wedding day (shot by our friends Tony Phanlak and Dianna Southisieng).

I’d also like to share a couple images from our Bridal shoot with the talented and beautiful Jennifer of Jennifer Manzi Photography.
