Rhode Island Maternity: Miss N

Hi, I'm Kim Lyn. Inspired by the coastlines I call home, my work blends timeless beauty with an effortless, modern feel.

Good morning all.  Hope everyone had a nice week.  I’m sure you’re all excited that it’s Friday!  Today I share with you Miss N’s maternity shoot.  We had such a gorgeous day to work with.  The sun was shining and it was just warm enough in this fall weather.  Lately, the weather has been super crazy.  The nights being as cold as winter.  The sun being so hot you’re sweating and then twenty minutes later it’s freezing rain.  But hey.  That’s New England.  I do have to say I love living in New England.  As much as the changes in weather can be annoying they are absolutely breathtaking as well.

2013-10-08_0002The leaves are just starting to change so Miss N decided to do an outdoor shoot.  Her baby boy Brayden will be coming into this world at the end of October so she loved using the fall decor.  She even made her own custom pumpkin.  Love it.

2013-10-08_0006Pregnancy looks good on some people.  Miss N is one of those people.  She is glowing in all of her pictures.  For me on the other hand.  I was one of those not so pretty, not so pleasant, pregnant ladies.  But that’s okay I made it through and have the best son anyone could ever ask for.  I know little Brayden will be just that for Miss N.  He is already so loved by so many people.  Especially by his Mama.

2013-10-08_0004I love the way the light hit Brayden’s baby bump so much in this picture.  It had to be one of my faves from the day.  Miss N has such cute style.  I loved the pairing of the boots with her sweater dress.  She pulls it off so well.  She still has a gorgeous figure even at this stage in her pregnancy.

2013-10-08_0003“A mother’s love begins before the child is born, and lasts through time and difficulties  and differences and many wounds and days of joy and days of sorrow winding, wearing, weeping, sharing, changing, until at the end what remains is that solid core that began as love before the child was born.”

2013-10-08_0001Thank you for allowing me to capture this beautiful moment in your lives.  I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love and be a part of this incredible journey with you.  I can’t wait to meet little Brayden.  I pray God watches over you both.

Happy Friday Friends!

Xoxo
